Junior Kotlin / Java Software Engineer - New Product (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Join a cross-functional product team to design, build and operate new features for a fast-growing neo-broker product.
- Write clean, testable backend and integration code using Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot.
- Contribute to CI/CD, test automation and cloud infrastructure (Docker, AWS, Terraform) to enable reliable deployments.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers and other engineers to translate requirements into incremental, shippable work.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing to improve team quality and delivery speed.

Requirements:
- University degree or comparable qualification in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Exposure to or interest in Kotlin, Java, SQL, GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot and AWS.
- Clear, structured problem-solving skills and the ability to break work into manageable steps.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for well-architected, testable and documented code; experience with DDD or microservices is a plus.
- Prior experience or interest in financial services is beneficial but not required.
