Product Manager - AI Platform (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Own the strategic roadmap and product delivery for an internal AI-as-a-Platform offering that supports domain teams across the company.
- Define core platform services (APIs, model hosting, embedding store, prompt/agent frameworks, access controls) and prioritize integrations.
- Partner with Data Scientists, AI Engineers and domain product teams to identify high-impact use cases (client experience, fraud detection, automation) and drive implementations.
- Design governance, compliance and data-protection controls to enable safe, auditable AI usage (access management, model validation, monitoring and logging).
- Coordinate rollout, developer experience and SDKs to make AI capabilities easy to consume without external API dependencies.
- Track platform KPIs, reliability, cost and adoption; iterate based on feedback and regulatory constraints.

Requirements:
- Product management experience with AI-backed or backend platform products; familiarity with LLMs, embeddings and agent concepts.
- Strong understanding of data governance, model risk management and compliance considerations for production AI.
- Ability to translate technical trade-offs into product decisions and to scope MVPs for rapid, safe delivery.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering and data science teams; strong stakeholder communication.
- Analytical mindset, experience defining metrics and monitoring for model performance, bias and operational cost.
