Localisation QA Engineer with Finnish at GlobeTech

Responsibilities:
- Perform localisation testing across software, printed materials, help files and hardware; execute manual test cases and exploratory tests.
- Report issues using internal tools with clear reproduction steps, severity, screenshots/logs and suggested remediation.
- Analyse internationalisation and language-specific functional problems and propose fixes.
- Collaborate with engineering, translators, project managers and international QA centres to ensure localized product quality.
- Where applicable, design manual test plans and contribute to automation efforts (create/maintain automated tests, review automation opportunities).

Requirements:
- Native Finnish speaker with strong linguistics awareness and attention to language quality.
- 0–2 years’ experience in software localisation, internationalisation or QA testing (consumer electronics a plus).
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented and detail-focused.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Swift, ObjC, Python, Ruby) or willingness to learn for automation tasks.
- Self-driven, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and comfortable performing investigative/breaking tests to improve product quality.
