Responsibilities:
- Perform localisation testing for software, help files, print and hardware in the target language (Hebrew).
- Report defects via internal tools with clear reproduction steps, context and suggested fixes; follow issues through to closure.
- Analyse internationalisation (i18n) and localisation (l10n) issues and assess impact on UX and functionality.
- Work cross-functionally with international QA centres, engineering, translation teams and project managers to ensure delivery quality.
- Design and execute manual test plans; where applicable create and maintain automated test procedures.
- Develop automation scripts or assist with coding in Swift, Objective-C, Python, Ruby or other languages as required.
- Conduct technical reviews to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
Requirements:
- Native-level proficiency in Hebrew and strong knowledge of linguistics and localisation conventions.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in software localisation or internationalisation testing preferred.
- Ability to create manual test plans and to contribute to automation efforts; familiarity with Swift/ObjC/Python/Ruby is an advantage.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects with varying deadlines and collaborating in a multicultural team.
- Willingness to relocate to Cork and work onsite full-time for the contract period.
