Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain a self-service developer platform that abstracts infrastructure complexity and improves developer experience.
- Operate and scale cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, containers, cloud services) with focus on performance, scalability and cost-efficiency (FinOps).
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows and reusable templates to accelerate development and deployments.
- Improve platform reliability through fault-tolerance, disaster recovery, capacity planning and incident response practices.
- Enhance observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to understand needs, deliver simple impactful solutions and promote cloud-native best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years production experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration and major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).
- Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Ansible or similar).
- Proven skills building CI/CD and GitOps workflows and developer tooling to reduce toil.
- Experience with observability/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) and incident management.
- Knowledge of fault tolerance, disaster recovery, scalability, and FinOps practices.
- Collaborative, measurement-driven mindset with emphasis on incremental change and sharing knowledge.
