Responsibilities:
- Own platform features end-to-end for Network Solutions: translate needs into precise specs, implement automation, validate changes and operate them in production.
- Build and maintain cloud and network infrastructure supporting load balancers, switches, firewalls, VPN and VPC services.
- Automate configuration and deployments using IaC and configuration management tools (Ansible/Puppet), and maintain repeatable, auditable processes.
- Run validation suites and observability checks to prove changes are correct; document failure modes and remediate issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation: triage incidents, perform post-incident analysis and drive durable fixes to reduce toil.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers and contribute to operational runbooks and runbooks automation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in cloud infrastructure, Linux administration and network engineering with practical hands-on work in production environments.
- Proficiency with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Experience with load balancing, switching, firewall and VPN/VPC architectures and their operational challenges.
- Strong automation and debugging skills; ability to design validations and prove correctness before deployment.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted engineering tools but responsible for verifying output; strong technical judgement and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team and participate in on-call rotations.
