Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and operate core security controls: identity & access management, cloud & infrastructure security, endpoint management and incident response.
- Build paved roads and automation that make the secure path the default for engineers and researchers.
- Lead major security projects end-to-end: ideation, implementation, rollout and adoption.
- Evaluate security vendors and tooling; make build-vs-buy decisions and assess vendor posture.
- Define and communicate security roadmap, trade-offs and best practices to non-security teams to build trust and adoption.
- Perform threat modelling and design controls for novel insider risk scenarios specific to AI agent workflows.

- Proven ability to influence without formal authority and build cross-functional buy-in for security practices.
- Comfortable working at startup pace with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Experience owning or contributing significantly to an organisation's security posture that handles sensitive data.
