Senior Analytics Engineer at TradingView

Responsibilities:
- Own the dbt project and transformation layer: implement modeling, reusable macros, tests and project conventions.
- Consolidate legacy pipelines into standardized Silver/Gold layers and enshrine transformation standards.
- Design and implement golden-record resolution and conflict-management for master/reference data.
- Build and maintain the canonical data model and semantic (Gold) layer; create and populate the data catalog.
- Add and expand automated data quality checks (dbt tests, Great Expectations or Soda) and monitor data health.
- Enable self-service for analysts and product teams by documenting models and enforcing consistent semantics.

Requirements:
- 4–6 years experience as an Analytics or Data Engineer with hands-on ownership of dbt projects.
- Expert SQL skills (query optimization, partitions, indexing and data layout) and the ability to translate Python/Go logic into SQL.
- Proven experience with data quality tooling and implementing tests across pipelines.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, canonical/semantic layers and master/reference data management.
- Experience with RDBMS and object stores (S3) and familiarity with data catalogs and governance patterns.
- Clear communicator, product-focused and able to work with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver usable data products.
