Responsibilities:
- Design, build, evaluate and deploy agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered data pipelines.
- Implement ingestion, retrieval strategies and proactive intelligence across the data lifecycle.
- Create evals and monitoring for multi-step agent workflows and model-driven processes.
- Build interfaces and tooling to inspect, steer, and increase trust in agent behaviour.
- Collaborate closely with product, research and commercial teams to define acceptance criteria and deliverables.
- Own features end-to-end: prototype, productionise, and operate solutions with attention to quality and security.
- Drive PoCs and solve broad technical challenges across AI, data and infrastructure layers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a software engineer with production-grade systems experience.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/data applications in production, including RAG pipelines and agent orchestration.
- Strong proficiency with Python and SQL; experience with Postgres, Elasticsearch or Iceberg preferred.
- Familiarity with orchestration and infra tools (Dagster, Kubernetes, AWS) and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrable track record building and maintaining reliable, scalable software in fast-moving teams.
- Comfortable owning cross-functional projects and working in a startup environment with high ownership.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and willingness to learn new tools and domains quickly.
