Responsibilities:
- Design and build security controls for large-scale AI clusters across cloud and bare-metal (IAM, network segmentation, encryption, mTLS).
- Define and implement default-deny networking, cloud firewall policies, private connectivity and secure service identity practices.
- Ship security controls as infrastructure-as-code and GitOps flows so new clusters inherit secure defaults.
- Build telemetry, detection and automated remediation for network boundary drift and exfiltration paths.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters and container runtimes; embed secure-by-design practices across development workflows.
- Threat model complex multi-cloud topologies, review designs at architecture time, mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and team growth.
Requirements:
- 8–15+ years of engineering experience building and operating critical, large-scale systems.
- Strong software engineering skills in Python or a systems language (Go, Rust, C/C++).
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking, VPC design, firewall policy, egress controls and private interconnects.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes security, network policy, service identity and container hardening.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code/GitOps and automating secure deployments at scale.
- Proven ability to threat model multi-cloud systems, communicate risk clearly, and coach engineers on secure design.
