Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain low-latency backend services that process high-volume geospatial data (map-matching, routing, ETA calculation).
- Implement microservices in Go and assist migrating responsibilities from legacy systems.
- Design systems for scalability and real-world robustness (GPS drift, missed turns, rerouting edge cases).
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to turn spatial requirements into reliable implementations.
- Operate services on AWS/Kubernetes with Terraform; ensure observability, testing and incident readiness.

Requirements:
- 3+ years backend engineering experience (5+ for senior roles) with demonstrable production systems work.
- At least 1 year hands-on experience with mapping-related tasks: geospatial processing, map-matching or routing algorithms.
- Proficiency in Go preferred; strong fundamentals in other languages accepted.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and message brokers; familiarity with gRPC/Thrift.
- Nice-to-have: experience with routing engines (OSRM), C++, OpenStreetMap datasets or driver/navigation intuition.
