Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and platform tooling that improve developer productivity (CI/CD, deployment, build artifacts, secrets).
- Own parts of the engineering workflow: development environments, CI/CD pipelines, DevPortal, or quality tooling depending on team placement.
- Implement scalable, observable systems using Go, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD and cloud services.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and developer workflows; help integrate Spinup and related tooling.
- Mentor peers, write RFCs/ADRs, improve tests, and produce clear technical documentation and runbooks.

Requirements:
- Several years of backend/system design experience building production distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency with Go (or comparable backend language) and container/orchestration tooling (Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD).
- Experience with CI/CD, observability (metrics/logs/tracing), testing strategies, and platform automation.
- Comfortable designing developer-facing APIs and tooling; able to mentor and communicate technical decisions clearly.
- Fluent English and experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
