Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture.
- Build resilient, scalable and observable systems with automation and operational excellence in mind.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams to define and uphold technical standards and best practices.
- Manage individual project priorities and deliverables; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production monitoring and incident debugging.
- Stay current with tooling and architectural patterns relevant to payments and cloud-native systems.

Requirements:
- Strong production experience with Golang and microservice design patterns (event-driven/event sourcing a plus).
- Proven knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and data consistency strategies.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (containers, orchestration, CI/CD, observability stacks).
- Solid background in testing, automation, deployment and maintaining large-scale systems.
- Familiarity with software design principles, clean code, and agile development practices.
- Excellent communication in English; experience in FinTech/payment systems is highly desirable.
