Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop, operate and improve AWS-hosted infrastructure and services.
- Deliver a roadmap of requirements and drive continual service improvement across the AWS estate.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Cyber Security, Application Development teams and suppliers to ensure secure, resilient services.
- Respond proactively to shifting business priorities and incidents; contribute to service planning and operational readiness.
- Promote shared ownership, high-quality standards and practical automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading or contributing to multi-disciplinary teams delivering enterprise-level cloud services (AWS preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure automation, monitoring and incident response.
- Experience delivering continual service improvements and managing operational roadmaps in pressured environments.
- Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills across security, architecture, development and supplier teams.
- Awareness of cyber security principles, compliance and best practices for public-sector or regulated services.
- Able to work flexibly within a fixed-term appointment (47 months) and adapt to changing strategic priorities.
