Responsibilities:
- Support the development, testing, maintenance and improvement of software applications, services and infrastructure within a multidisciplinary team.
- Implement work from user stories: help design, build and document components, programs and scripts following team standards.
- Contribute to testing (unit, integration), system integration tasks and prototyping to validate ideas and reduce risk.
- Help identify, investigate and resolve defects using agreed processes; assist in maintaining service availability and performance.
- Follow information security requirements, accessibility and user-centred design guidance; participate in team ceremonies and peer reviews.
Requirements:
- Early-career engineer with practical experience from education, internships or projects delivering low-complexity software components.
- Basic familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or AEM concepts and an understanding of testing and system integration principles.
- Willingness to learn secure development practices, accessibility, prototyping and modern engineering workflows (CI, code review).
- Good communication, collaboration and documentation skills; able to work under supervision and accept coaching/mentoring.
- Commitment to continuous learning and a public-sector mindset focused on delivering reliable, user-focused services.
