(Senior) Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (Platform) (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable platform building blocks and automations that enable developer teams to ship reliably and quickly.
- Shape microservice deployment patterns and platform architecture for performance, security and cost efficiency on AWS (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, EKS).
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, internal automation tooling and platform libraries; drive platform migrations and tooling updates.
- Mentor and enable engineering teams to adopt reusable building blocks, DevOps best practices and improve release/testing workflows.
- Stay current with platform engineering trends and define infrastructure best practices, documentation and operational runbooks.

Requirements:
- Several years of hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).
- Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other general-purpose language (Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/Node.js etc.).
- Experience designing distributed systems, platform automation and developer-facing tooling.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience, strong communication skills and fluent English.
