Responsibilities:
- Convert complex business questions into clear analytics/AI problems with defined success metrics and evaluation plans.
- Perform exploratory analysis, feature engineering and model development on large datasets using ML and OR techniques.
- Apply Generative/Agentic AI to create copilots, decision-support tools and intelligent workflows where appropriate.
- Work with Data/AI Engineering to productionize models in cloud environments (GCP/Azure) using CI/CD and testing best practices.
- Own solutions end-to-end: problem scoping, modeling, validation, deployment, monitoring and iterative improvement.
- Present technical results to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of data science experience or a relevant PhD; demonstrated business impact from deployed models.
- Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with Spark or comparable large-scale compute frameworks.
- Solid grounding in ML, statistics, experimental design and familiarity with operations research methods.
- Experience building production-ready solutions in cloud platforms and working with Git, testing and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across product, engineering and business teams.
