Senior Full-Stack Engineer at PAIR

About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end product areas: design, implement and ship features across frontend, APIs, data and integrations.
- Build UX-connected AI flows: integrate AI-powered features with authentication, learning content and platform services.
- Maintain engineering quality: set standards for testing, maintainability, performance and reliability as usage grows.
- Shape technical direction: influence frontend architecture, API design and data modelling; make pragmatic trade-offs.
- Partner with Product and Design: translate customer needs into user-centred solutions and mentor engineers to raise quality.
- Operate across stack: debug production issues, optimise performance and improve observability and deployment pipelines.

Requirements:
- Strong experience building production web platforms across frontend and backend as a senior engineer.
- Proficiency with a modern frontend framework (Vue, React or Angular) and comfortable with TypeScript or equivalent.
- Experience with backend frameworks and services (Python preferred, FastAPI and Celery are strong pluses).
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, API design, data modelling and system trade-offs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD (e.g. GitHub Actions), infrastructure as code and observability tools.
- Good product sense, clear communication skills, and ability to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Curiosity about AI and experience applying AI-native ways of working to ship quickly without sacrificing quality.
