Responsibilities:
- Own and drive technical architecture for the Suppliers domain, ensuring scalability, reliability and developer ergonomics.
- Design and deliver backend services, APIs and platform defaults used by other teams.
- Implement agentic development workflows: spec-driven development, AI-assisted coding and automated delivery where appropriate.
- Collaborate with product, data and engineering teams to translate domain needs into platform solutions.
- Define and improve platform standards, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and observability for cloud-native services.
- Mentor engineers, review designs and influence cross-team decisions about where to absorb complexity in the platform.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in cloud-native backend development (C#, .NET or similar) and production service architecture.
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL), microservices, APIs and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
- Practical experience with Azure (or equivalent cloud) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Product-oriented mindset with focus on data quality, operational reliability and long-term maintainability.
- Comfortable working with and experimenting on agentic AI tooling for development workflows; ability to help shape adoption.
- Leadership experience (for Lead level): technical ownership, mentoring and influencing engineering practices across teams.
