About the role
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship practical ML and data solutions in a zero-to-one, production-focused startup environment.
- Use agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as part of daily development workflows.
- Tackle ambiguous data problems and contribute hands-on to production systems and pipelines.
- Collaborate across engineering and product to move fast while maintaining technical rigor.
- Prioritize high-impact experiments, prototyping, and productionalization of models/features.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience with a strong engineering or quantitative background.
- Solid quantitative foundations (rigorous degree, advanced math training, or equivalent demonstrated ability).
- Daily hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools or similar developer-assist tools.
- Proven experience working in early-stage startups or as an early hire on zero-to-one projects.
- Comfortable working at a high pace, with ambiguous problems and pragmatic production trade-offs.
- Willingness to be hybrid/on-site in Berlin or relocate as needed.
