About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own features end-to-end as Feature Lead: define scope, plan work, make day-to-day technical decisions, and ship to production.
- Design and deliver LLM-powered agents for SOC workflows: tool integration, prompt and context engineering, evals and guardrails.
- Make trade-offs on accuracy, latency, cost and autonomy vs human-in-the-loop to meet SOC production constraints.
- Drive technical design discussions, influence architecture and standards, and set the team bar for code quality, testing and documentation.
- Ground decisions in outcomes: validate the "why", propose simpler/faster paths, and stay close to analysts and customers.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code review and design feedback; participate in hiring and onboarding.
- Lead during incidents and high-pressure moments; contribute to a psychologically safe, outcome-oriented culture.
- Work cross-stack in a small full-stack team and commit to office presence twice weekly (The Hague or Berlin).

Requirements:
- 5+ years of development experience with meaningful full-stack exposure and the ability to work across backend and frontend layers.
- Deep expertise in at least one technical area and broad competence across the stack; experience shipping systems where performance, security and reliability mattered.
- Hands-on experience with strongly typed languages (TypeScript, Java, .NET, PHP) and ability to learn Go/React quickly.
- Practical experience building LLM agents in production: tool use, prompt/context engineering, evals and guardrails.
- Strong focus on secure coding practices and the operational trade-offs for correctness, latency and cost in a SOC environment.
- Independent ownership, clear communication and experience leading technical work without close supervision.
