Responsibilities:
- Lead design and delivery of pricing features and account plans that are scalable, intuitive and fair for business customers.
- Collaborate daily with product managers, data analysts/scientists and designers to define requirements and validate outcomes.
- Build reliable backend services using best practices for testing, CI/CD and observability.
- Own projects end-to-end: plan, implement, release and monitor adoption; iterate based on data.
- Drive technical decisions, perform code reviews and raise engineering standards across the team.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to improving team culture and processes.

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with Java or Kotlin (or another JVM language) and the Spring framework.
- Solid experience with relational databases, distributed systems and concurrent processing; experience with Kafka preferred.
- Strong testing mindset: unit, integration and testing strategies for production systems.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Product-oriented and data-driven: prioritise customer impact and use metrics to guide decisions.
- Proven ability to take ownership, work independently and deliver end-to-end projects.
