Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery for voice AI projects across design, implementation, testing, and production rollout.
- Build and maintain reliable voice systems: retrieval, dynamic model routing, speech transcription testing and deployment.
- Design and operate distributed call-scheduling systems handling concurrency, time zones, retries, race conditions, and provider limits.
- Extend agent capabilities across voice, messaging, and email while preserving shared context between real-time and asynchronous interactions.
- Implement memory and reasoning components to retain context across customer workflows.
- Build tools for configuring agents, debugging flows, and integrating with CRM, calendar, and email systems.
- Improve observability and resilience (tracing, OpenTelemetry/Honeycomb) to detect failures and accelerate incident response.
Requirements:
- 2+ years building and owning production software, including distributed systems and full product delivery.
- Proficiency in Python and FastAPI or TypeScript; experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar datastores.
- Practical experience with real-time systems, audio processing, or voice infrastructure and deploying LLMs/AI in production.
- Solid understanding of distributed-systems concepts: race conditions, load balancing, fault tolerance.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), workflow orchestration (e.g., Temporal), and observability tooling.
- Full-stack familiarity (React) is helpful; strong software fundamentals, independent problem solving, and customer-focused delivery.
