Responsibilities:
- Architect and build scalable backend systems for enterprise finance and ERP use cases.
- Develop and maintain high-quality Python services, APIs, and asynchronous workflows.
- Lead the software lifecycle: design, code, tests, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and on-call support.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations for reliability and performance.
- Integrate external services robustly, handling error modes and ensuring data consistency.
- Partner with product to model complex accounting rules into maintainable systems.
- Improve system performance, observability, and operational processes.

Requirements:
- 5+ years in backend engineering with experience building production-grade systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and CI/CD practices.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, schema design, and data migrations.
- Proven track record designing resilient APIs and backend architectures.
- Comfortable with production operations: monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on Python experience; experience with FastAPI/Flask/Django preferred.
- Strong communicator in English, able to operate autonomously in fast-moving teams.
