Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain core enterprise backend services that deliver security, reliability and scalability for large customers.
- Own production reliability: monitoring, observability, incident response and post-incident improvements.
- Lead multi-month, cross-team projects: decompose ambiguous problems, define milestones, and deliver iteratively.
- Translate business, security and regulatory requirements into technical designs and platform capabilities.
- Drive platform direction and technical trade-offs to support future scale, compliance and enterprise needs.
- Collaborate closely with product, security, legal and infrastructure teams to align on priorities and integrations.

Requirements:
- Minimum ~7 years software engineering experience with demonstrated senior or staff-level impact.
- Strong backend development and system design skills; experience with distributed systems at scale.
- Experience building enterprise-grade systems (security, compliance, data handling, access control, multi-tenant architectures).
- Proven ownership of production systems: observability, SLIs/SLOs, incident management and reliability improvements.
- Ability to work across functions, align stakeholders and drive technical initiatives end-to-end.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineers and influencing architecture and operational practices.
