Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and ship backend features for the Advanced Voice Input service (primarily in Go).
- Own end-to-end delivery: design, implementation, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Integrate and call voice/ASR models, manage user connectivity, and post-process model outputs into actionable results.
- Build observability and monitoring for latency, errors and quality metrics; drive reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with Mobile, Extensions and Desktop teams to ensure consistent UX and SDK integration.
- Use and experiment with AI-assisted development tools to improve developer velocity and automation loops.
- Propose and evaluate architectural changes to scale throughput, reduce latency and control costs.

Requirements:
- Proven experience building scalable, high-volume backend services; strong Go programming skills preferred.
- Experience with production observability, distributed systems, API design and reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with audio/voice processing pipelines, model serving or ML inference pipelines is a plus.
- Comfortable owning services in production and troubleshooting live incidents.
- Strong cross-team collaboration, product intuition and ability to prioritize trade-offs.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly in English.
