Responsibilities:
- Build, ship and maintain backend services powering AI Studio, Le Chat and Mistral Code.
- Design APIs, data models and scalable architectures to support high traffic and multi-tenant needs.
- Ensure reliability and performance via testing, profiling, monitoring and incident response.
- Work closely with frontend, product and infra teams to deliver complete features and improve developer experience.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation and deployment automation.

Requirements:
- Proficient in Python or another backend language and experienced in building production APIs and services.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, caching and messaging patterns.
- Experience with containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable using observability and monitoring tools and debugging production issues.
- Collaborative attitude, ownership mindset and 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience or equivalent.
