About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize system software, runtime frameworks and kernels to improve AI workload performance.
- Profile applications, identify bottlenecks and implement performance tuning across software and hardware layers.
- Enable parallel and distributed workload execution; improve scheduling and runtime efficiency.
- Integrate and test frameworks and toolchains with processor and accelerator hardware.
- Debug complex system- and performance-related issues; support packaging, distribution and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and AI engineering teams to influence software architecture and processor optimizations.
Requirements:
- Mid: 4+ years professional software engineering experience; Senior: 8+ years.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python in Linux environments.
- Practical experience with profiling, performance optimization, parallel programming and workload analysis.
- Solid system-level understanding (kernel/runtime behavior), strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency at C1 and a Bachelor/Master/PhD in CS, CE or related field.
- Desirable: RISC-V or vector assembly, CUDA/ROCm, LLVM/GCC experience, bare-metal programming, AI application familiarity and experience working near processor/accelerator hardware.
