Applied AI, Use-case, Software Engineer (Harness) at Mistral

Responsibilities:
- Productionize the cyber harness: convert research prototypes into robust, scalable services for offensive and defensive security use-cases.
- Orchestrate red-team/blue-team agent loops (find vuln → patch → redeploy → retest) and automate lifecycle workflows.
- Build context engineering, connectors, worker scaling, SDKs, packaging and deployment patterns to make demos production-ready.
- Integrate harnesses with Mistral’s stack: temporal-style workflows, Vibe, container/Kubernetes deployments and model services.
- Collaborate with Applied, Science and Product teams to align requirements, run client deployments, and support training against the harness.
- Design for reliability, observability, testing and security from prototype to production.

Requirements:
- 5+ years software engineering experience, preferably with cybersecurity product development or offensive/defensive tooling.
- Proven ability to ship production-quality code, build APIs/SDKs, and design scalable distributed systems.
- Experience with LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, context engineering and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong skills with containers, Kubernetes, workflow engines (e.g., Temporal), and deployment automation.
- Proficiency in Python/Go/TypeScript and solid testing, debugging and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working across research, applied and product teams.
