Responsibilities:
- Write clean, tested, and performant backend services (primarily in Go) for marketplace pricing and matching.
- Implement new microservices and help migrate responsibilities away from legacy systems safely.
- Collaborate with PMs, designers and data scientists to translate product requirements into technical designs.
- Ensure services remain reliable and low-latency under high load through profiling, caching and capacity planning.
- Contribute to TDD/DDD practices, CI/CD pipelines, observability and production runbooks.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience building scalable backend systems (5+ for senior roles).
- Proficiency in Go preferred; strong fundamentals in another language (Python, C++, Ruby, etc.) accepted.
- Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) is desirable.
- Comfortable debating trade-offs in English (B2+); strong collaborative and problem-solving skills.
