Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/OVH) aligned to business objectives with clear KPIs for availability, performance and ownership.
- Build and manage landing zones, governance guardrails (policies, tagging, RBAC) and environment hierarchies for secure cloud adoption.
- Implement FinOps practices: cost forecasting, rightsizing, budgeting and showback/chargeback models.
- Automate provisioning and workflows using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep) and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
- Ensure security and compliance (zero-trust, encryption, GDPR, CIS/ISO standards) and embed DevSecOps practices.
- Define observability, incident response and DR/BCP plans with RTO/RPO targets; troubleshoot to meet SLAs.
- Support cloud migrations and hybrid designs (VMware/Hyper-V), collaborate with dev teams and produce runbooks and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience designing and operating cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/OVH) and hybrid architectures.
- Hands-on with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep).
- Strong networking, security and identity (RBAC) knowledge for cloud environments.
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with CI/CD and observability tools.
- Familiarity with FinOps, cost optimisation and cloud operational excellence practices.
- Relevant cloud certifications and experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, CIS) are desirable.
- Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication and ability to work with European institution stakeholders.
