Responsibilities:
- Lead design and delivery of end-to-end cloud-native data architectures: ingestion, modeling (e.g., Medallion), storage and orchestration.
- Implement and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines for performance, cost-efficiency and reliability across data lake/warehouse solutions.
- Establish practices for data validation, lineage, documentation and monitoring at scale.
- Provide technical leadership: mentor engineers, enforce standards, make trade-off decisions and communicate them to stakeholders.
- Drive DataOps/CI-CD improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams on platform evolution.

Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of data engineering experience with strong cloud-native and data architecture background.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and Spark and hands-on experience with Azure (Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse) or equivalent cloud tooling (GCP/AWS).
- Practical experience with data lake/warehouse technologies (Delta Lake, ADLS, BigQuery, Redshift) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and data governance.
- Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills; English proficiency at B2 or higher.
