Responsibilities:
- Provide user support for the data platform: troubleshoot incidents and resolve platform issues
- Maintain and support production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes (batch and streaming)
- Collaborate with platform architects to improve availability, security and performance
- Implement monitoring, alerting and performance optimization (Grafana and related tools)
- Support data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness
- Work with data lakes, warehouses and streaming systems; automate ingestion and delivery
- Optimize SQL queries and data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
- Document changes, processes and release notes; review and approve production releases

Requirements:
- Fluent Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
- Able to work remotely from any Portuguese region; 30 days’ notice for termination
- Experience with production data pipelines and distributed processing (Apache Spark)
- Strong SQL skills and experience troubleshooting dbt, Airflow, Kafka, NiFi and Ignite
- Proficiency in Python or Scala for data engineering tasks
- Experience with AWS cloud data services and deployment best practices
- Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana) and CI/CD for data workflows
- Knowledge of data governance, security and compliance in cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills; experience working with stakeholders
