Responsibilities:
- Own the full ML lifecycle for AML and financial sanctions models: data exploration, model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large, event-based datasets from payments, trading, CRM and core-banking systems.
- Design features and implement supervised learning solutions (feature engineering, selection, hyperparameter tuning).
- Implement model training, validation and performance monitoring; ensure models meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and clear model documentation.
- Contribute to establishing and improving group-wide MLOps practices (MLflow, CI/CD, model registries, deployment automation).

Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark and strong SQL skills; familiarity with Delta Lake and MLflow.
- Solid foundation in statistics and supervised learning (evaluation metrics, hypothesis testing, class-imbalance handling).
- Experience in data profiling, data-quality analysis and data modelling for ML use cases.
- Practical knowledge of version control (Git), code review practices and software delivery basics.
- Strong communication skills, agile mindset, proactive teamwork and structured problem-solving.
- Very good English (mandatory); German is a plus. Motivation to learn banking/transaction data and produce regulatory documentation.
