About the role
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance and maintain full-stack applications using Java (backend) and Angular (frontend).
- Analyse requirements, design solutions and implement new business and technical features.
- Integrate and support C# components within the existing system landscape when required.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product Owners and other teams to ensure delivery and operational readiness.
- Drive code quality through reviews, testing, and enforcement of architecture and development standards.
- Promote and embed AI-assisted engineering practices responsibly across the SDLC.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers and contribute to technical roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Several years of commercial experience building complex software with Java and Angular.
- Practical knowledge of C# and experience with version control (Git or SVN).
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud/container technologies (AWS, Docker).
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and understanding of responsible application (security, maintainability, compliance).
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ideally experience in technical leadership, mentoring and familiarity with financial services domain.
