Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development of AML and sanctions ML models: data ingestion, cleaning, modeling, deployment, and monitoring.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical evaluation on transaction and event-stream data.
- Implement MLOps best practices (MLflow, Delta Lake) to ensure reproducibility, monitoring, and model governance.
- Produce model documentation for regulatory, audit, and validation purposes; collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize models.
- Set up data-quality controls, experiments, and dashboards to measure model performance and business impact.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL; experience with Delta Lake and MLflow preferred.
- Strong understanding of supervised learning, evaluation metrics, hyperparameter tuning, and class imbalance strategies.
- Experience with data profiling, data modeling, and building production-ready ML pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus), an agile mindset, and the ability to produce regulatory documentation.
- Familiarity with Git and software delivery practices; motivated to learn banking data and compliance domain specifics.
