Engineering Manager (Team Lead) - 2 squads at C Teleport

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and own design decisions, delivery outcomes and production quality for up to two squads.
- Remain hands-on: write and review production C#/.NET code, lead architectural discussions and reduce technical debt.
- Partner with Product Owners to translate roadmaps into incremental MVPs and manage delivery commitments.
- Ensure operational stability: incident response, SLAs, monitoring and post-incident remediation.
- Hire, line-manage and develop engineers: run 1:1s, give feedback, set growth plans and handle performance decisions.
- Promote engineering best practices (SOLID, TDD, DDD, event-driven patterns) and evaluate new tech with Architects.

Requirements:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep C#/.NET knowledge and strong system design skills.
- 2+ years in a team lead or engineering manager role with demonstrable people-management experience.
- Experience building microservices, message-driven systems (RabbitMQ), PostgreSQL, Docker and cloud-based deployments.
- Familiarity with event sourcing, CQRS, TDD, DDD and practices for reliable financial/integration domains.
- Strong communication skills and ability to hire, mentor and hold teams accountable to delivery and quality.
- Based in the Netherlands and able to work from the Rotterdam office ~3 days per week.
