Engineering Manager at TradingView

Responsibilities:
- Translate business requests into clear technical requirements and implementation tasks.
- Design resilient distributed architectures and ensure architectural consistency across services.
- Coordinate with other development teams to guarantee reliable integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers to define technical approaches and delivery timelines.
- Participate in hiring, conduct technical interviews, and onboard new engineers.
- Oversee code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and occasionally contribute code.
- Hold regular 1:1s and performance reviews; mentor and support team growth.
- Work with DevOps on release processes and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of backend development experience and 2+ years as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Strong hands-on backend skills in Go and experience designing APIs and microservice architectures.
- Proven knowledge of distributed systems design patterns and network protocols.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases and schema/operational trade-offs.
- Clear understanding of the software development lifecycle and code review practices.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills; English B1+ and strong Russian proficiency.
