Responsibilities:
- Lead deployment activities across on-premise and hybrid environments: software rollout, commissioning, and go-live support.
- Configure and validate production infrastructure (compute, storage, clusters, networking, mutual TLS).
- Build and maintain automation for deployments, CI/CD workflows, and standard operating runbooks.
- Implement and test rollback, recovery, backup strategies; ensure compliance with recovery objectives.
- Monitor system health, capacity planning, and perform routine lifecycle maintenance (patches, upgrades).
- Troubleshoot escalations and collaborate with Customer Success and customer IT on incident resolution.
- Document site-specific configurations and surface lessons learned to improve tooling and architecture.

Requirements:
- Practical Linux administration skills and experience with container runtimes (Docker, Compose).
- Production experience with Kubernetes-based systems and cluster operations.
- Strong networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and OT/IT network considerations.
- Proficiency with IaC/automation (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab) plus Git.
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and certificate/PKI management.
- Strong troubleshooting aptitude in complex, multi-team environments.
- Desirable: air-gapped deployment experience, Helm/GitOps tooling, industrial network knowledge, Debian packaging, relevant certifications (CKA, RHCE, LPIC).
