Responsibilities:
- Maintain and scale Bazel build infrastructure to ensure fast, reliable builds across teams.
- Operate and improve the Nix deployment/development platform to enable reproducible ML experiments and robot deployments.
- Design, implement and run CI/CD pipelines (including HITL) to accelerate safe, repeatable releases.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes and Ray clusters to support training, evaluation and CI workloads.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS) using IAC (Terraform/Nix); monitor costs and availability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance, troubleshoot incidents and maintain high availability.
Requirements:
- Strong, proven experience running Bazel at scale and maintaining build systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Nix).
- Experience building or operating embedded Linux environments and production distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration, Ray or HPC-style cluster management, networking, security and monitoring tooling.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for complex system issues and incident response experience.
- Excellent communication in English and ability to collaborate with ML, robotics and software teams.
- Bonus: experience with large-scale data pipelines, HPC clusters, Rust/C++/Python, or robotics hardware-software integration.
