Java Spring Boot & Cloud Sr. Software Engineer (d/f/m) at Haufe Group

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain cloud-native authentication and authorization services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build secure, scalable APIs and backend components (OAuth2, token management, session handling) while following clean architecture and API design principles.
- Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes and AWS; use GitLab pipelines, Helm and GitOps for CI/CD and releases.
- Collaborate with product, security and cross-functional teams to define requirements, deliver end-to-end features and run effective code reviews.
- Improve automation, testing (unit/integration) and observability to ensure production reliability and fast feedback.

Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA).
- Practical experience with Kubernetes, AWS and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Helm, GitOps workflows).
- Solid API design skills and familiarity with authentication/authorization concepts (OAuth2, OpenID Connect desirable).
- Familiarity with build tools (Gradle/Maven), automated testing and DevOps culture.
- Strong communication skills in English and willingness to work from Barcelona (relocation supported).
