Responsibilities:
- Lead Monzo's data strategy to evolve product offerings and simplify day-to-day money management for customers.
- Define and promote experimentation best practices (design, analysis, and interpretation) to enable data-informed product decisions.
- Set standards for data quality, analytics tooling and documentation across squads; drive knowledge sharing.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, design and research leaders to align analytics with business goals.
- Mentor and grow mid/senior data scientists; influence hiring, coaching and technical direction.
- Balance self-serve analytics enablement with delivery of high-impact, bespoke analyses and strategic projects.

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading data strategy and analytics in a product-driven environment.
- Strong experimentation and causal-inference skills; experience designing and analysing A/B tests at scale.
- Expert-level SQL and familiarity with Python/R and modern analytics tools (Looker or similar).
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering and design teams.
- Experience mentoring senior analysts/DS and setting team standards.
- Comfortable working in fast-growing fintech environments and influencing senior stakeholders.
