Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data science initiatives for a large product or domain, focusing on high-impact business outcomes.
- Design and execute experiments, causal analyses, forecasting and optimisation projects that inform senior leadership decisions.
- Deliver robust models, analyses and dashboards; translate results into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Partner closely with product, engineering and commercial leaders to prioritise data work and embed it into roadmaps.
- Raise technical standards across the team by establishing reproducible practices, reusable tooling and review processes.
- Mentor and coach data scientists; foster knowledge sharing and scalable approaches.
Requirements:
- Senior-level experience (10+ years) driving complex, high-value data science work in product or analytics environments.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python and strong applied knowledge of causal inference, experimentation and forecasting.
- Track record influencing senior stakeholders and delivering end-to-end analytical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical trade-offs and business impact to non-technical audiences.
- Experience building team capability through mentoring, standards and reusable assets.
