Responsibilities:
- Architect, build and deploy production-grade LLM features integrated into customer-facing products and internal workflows.
- Implement RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents and tool-calling patterns in scalable backend services and APIs.
- Develop full-stack components as needed to deliver end-to-end AI product experiences.
- Establish evaluation, observability and monitoring frameworks for model quality, latency, reliability and cost.
- Prototype rapidly, validate ideas, then harden successful experiments into maintainable production systems.
- Investigate incidents using telemetry, optimize inference cost and latency, and contribute to postmortems.
- Collaborate closely with Product, ML and Engineering teams to translate product needs into practical AI solutions.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features to production and strong software engineering background.
- Practical knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases/search, agentic systems and orchestration patterns.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt/tool calling patterns and production failure modes (latency, hallucinations, cost).
- Experience with backend development (Python/Node.js), cloud infrastructure (AWS/Docker) and CI/CD.
- Skilled in observability, telemetry and building evaluation/feedback loops for ML systems.
- Strong collaboration skills, product focus and the ability to move prototypes to production reliably.
