Responsibilities:
- Design and implement large-scale, resilient Java microservices that process billions of events.
- Drive architecture and roadmap decisions collaborating with architects and product management.
- Deliver high-quality code and features with automated tests, CI/CD and performance considerations.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability and onboarding velocity for the data platform.
- Handle L3 support escalations and contribute to incident resolution and postmortems.
- Advocate and enforce best practices in security, testing, performance and deployment.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews and promote team-wide engineering efficiency.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of professional Java development experience in SaaS or distributed systems.
- Strong expertise in microservices frameworks (Micronaut or Spring preferred) and messaging (Kafka).
- Practical experience with cloud providers (AWS), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit/integration/E2E) and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of scalability, fault tolerance and system performance at high event volumes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and self-management skills; fluent English.
