About the role

Responsibilities:
- Drive engineering delivery: set clear commitments, priorities, and measures for predictable shipping.
- Lead, coach, and develop engineers with regular 1:1s, feedback, career plans, and performance reviews.

- Work with customers (freight forwarders, airlines) to validate problems and drive product impact.
- Improve team processes by identifying bottlenecks and using data to optimize throughput.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams, hiring, and performance management.
- Strong backend architecture skills and technical credibility.
- Proven record of delivering product outcomes on schedule.
- Interest and experience in integrating AI tools/agents into engineering workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams.
