Responsibilities:
- Lead bring-up and early validation of Wayve’s AI software stack on customer hardware platforms (e.g. NVIDIA Drive, Qualcomm Ride).
- Port, configure, and validate Linux-based systems, QNX, and Adaptive AUTOSAR environments for target SoCs.
- Integrate and test drivers, middleware, boot configurations, and device trees; implement secure boot and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with Verification, Release, OEMs and Tier‑1 partners to resolve integration issues and enable CI/CD/HIL test flows.
- Develop automation for flashing, setup, health checks and test execution on target hardware.
- Contribute to test infrastructure, logging, and system-level monitoring to support reliable validation.

Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in embedded or automotive software development with hands-on platform bring-up experience.
- Strong C/C++ skills plus shell scripting (Bash) and Python for automation and tooling.
- Deep knowledge of embedded Linux, bootloaders, device trees, Yocto/systemd, and familiarity with QNX/AUTOSAR.
- Experience with automotive SoCs, debugging tools, board bring-up, and interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, PCIe, I2C).
- Proven ability to work with OEMs/Tier‑1s and integrate hardware into CI/CD and HIL environments.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills; willingness to relocate and work closely with cross-functional teams.
