About the role

Responsibilities:
- Lead expansion of e-commerce tracking across a high-traffic, multi-tenant SaaS storefront platform.
- Design and implement measurement infrastructure and tracking foundations from scratch.
- Define scalable KPIs and performance metrics to guide product development for all tenants and enterprise customers.
- Translate analytics and platform performance into actionable product features, specs and growth strategies.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA and Design teams to embed tracking into feature development.
- Benchmark platform performance against retail/e-commerce standards and recommend improvements.
- Integrate AI tools into analytics workflows to accelerate measurement and insight generation.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional experience in e-commerce analytics or platform measurement.
- Strong, MVP-focused mindset with experience designing complex KPIs and platform-level metrics.
- Hands-on experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami) and BI tools or spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel, PowerBI).
- High attention to data precision, measurement logic and data quality governance.
- Ability to translate between commercial stakeholders and English-speaking engineering teams.
- Familiarity with AI tooling for analytics (e.g., Claude, Cursor) and willingness to adopt state-of-the-art tools.
- Nice-to-have: German language skills, SaaS/platform experience and background in retail verticals (fashion, beauty, lifestyle).

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic expansion of e-commerce tracking and build a new analytical function from scratch for a multi-tenant SaaS storefront. Act as a translator between technical engineering teams and commercial stakeholders to drive product growth through data-oriented features.

Requires over 6 years of professional e-commerce experience with a strong focus on MVP development and complex KPI measurement. Proficiency in web analytics platforms and BI tools is essential, along with the ability to work in English-speaking cross-functional teams.
