Responsibilities:
- Own design, development and optimization of the Android SDK (Kotlin) to ensure stability and low footprint inside third-party apps.
- Implement and maintain high-performance networking and API integrations (gRPC, Protobuf, OkHTTP) with strict backward compatibility.
- Profile and optimise CPU, memory and battery usage; apply ProGuard/R8 and other release-time optimisations.
- Build observability and diagnostics into the SDK using Sentry, Kibana and AWS tooling; investigate incidents at scale.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for SDK releases, write integration tests, and collaborate closely with backend, analytics and product teams.

Requirements:
- 8+ years Android experience or 3+ years focused on SDK/library development with deep Kotlin and Android internals expertise.
- Strong knowledge of multithreading, lifecycle management, performance profiling and ProGuard/R8 optimisations.
- Hands-on experience with networking stacks (gRPC/Protobuf/OkHTTP), API design and backward-compatibility strategies.
- Experience with CI pipelines (GitLab CI), observability tools (Sentry/Kibana) and AWS services used for diagnostics.
- Attention to detail, ability to work across teams and experience shipping reliable SDKs at scale; NDK/JNI knowledge is a plus.
