Senior Associate – Data analyst - Operational tax team at PwC

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end data initiatives for the Operational Tax team: requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, training and change communication.
- Translate business processes into functional and technical specifications; map data flows and identify automation opportunities.
- Collect, cleanse and model complex datasets from multiple sources to produce actionable dashboards and recurring reports.
- Develop visualisations and present findings to stakeholders; turn insights into prioritized action plans.
- Implement automation and digitalisation projects using modern data tools and collaborate with IT and fund administration teams.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative, IT or related field and around 3+ years’ experience (financial services experience preferred).
- Strong practical skills in Python and SQL; experience with Power BI and/or QlikView and working knowledge of XML/data integration.
- Experience in data modelling, ETL/data cleansing, dashboarding and creating production reports.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and ability to train end users on new tools/processes.
- Comfortable using AI/modern analytics tools, agile delivery approaches and delivering scalable solutions.
